Hi English learner,

Today, I'm going to share with you a very interesting topic. Before that, keep in mind that this must not be your first English lesson but it may be your first lesson of how do you better learn English language.

I name it First English First due to very basic reason on how we learn language. Understanding this matter will help you be more effective in learning English language. In addition, this can also be applied in other languages too.

MU#1 - Be Natural
A newly born baby isn't like a newly released gadget which is accompanied by already installed languages. By the time goes, the baby begins to learn from surrounding. Then, the first lesson he must learn is language. To cut it short, to learn English is to put ourselves as a newly born baby. In shorter, just be natural in your learning.

Many English learners especially the EFLs struggle for a painful learning. As my experience too, I studied vocabulary at primary school, memorize them quite bitterly. Then, I had to construct them like a brick wall as I put them in correct Tenses. How pity I am. This is not necessary to blame our teachers. Therefore, we need to have better understanding.

Let's get back to the track!
The way to learn it naturally is to learn to Listen More not to Speak More. And be understood that Reading and Writing is not natural to begin with.

MU#2 - Be Authentic
Listening more is very critical even though it will always be hard at the beginning. More importantly, one you must listen to is of course the real native English speaker. If you can't decide what audio or video of English speaker you have to start with, you will probably need somebody to help you. Of course those of capable in English, either your teacher or anyone else.

MU#3 - Language Age
Our first language age is what our age is. It's because we use that language since we're born. Though it's not literally so. So now, see and feel how is your English language age?

If you start your learning English two years ago means that the language is just even less than two years. Why? It's because the age of our language is not stick to the time goes by. It's determined by how much and how long you use it. So, as you were two years old child of English, what can you expect yourself to be able to use the English like an adult. If you find any intermittent when you use your English, that's completely normal.

Understanding this will also allow you to know what best to fit your need. For example, you can now accelerate your English by multiplying the time to use it. Get more listening is a good start.

Nowadays, there are so many excerpts, audios, videos and ebooks online that you can freely download! They are helpful if you know where to go.

Thanks for learning, hope this post helpful for you.
